Mentoring can easily be described as “a guide on the side.” Drawing from my extensive experience as an educational leader, I work with clients who are new to their positions, to help them think through the essential functions of their new role, which includes skill development and working with the people surrounding them. Mentoring is non-evaluative, and is a confidential relationship between the mentor and mentee. Sessions are typically 45 minutes - 1 hour, and scheduled over 6 - 12 months.
Coaching is a service targeted to support individuals’ personal and professional growth, to develop skills and dispositions to reach their goals, as well as those of their organization. I coach leaders to recognize their own capacities in tandem with the desired outcomes for themselves, their staff, and organization, and work with them to build their competencies, confidence, and motivations to enable growth. Sessions are typically 45 minutes - 1 hour, and scheduled over 6 - 12 months.
I offer group coaching sessions for individuals who want to connect with others and achieve their goals together. Join a supportive community and transform your life with like-minded individuals. In addition, leaders can often benefit from having a “third party” work with their teams to increase functionality and teamwork, so that the leader can collaborate with their team, and learn alongside them. Prior to facilitation, I meet with the leader to understand the desired outcomes needed, and will often connect with individual team members in advance to get their perspectives. The team building session(s) will be customized based on these needs. Sessions are typically 4 - 8 hours.
